The Riverfront hosted an open mic night on Friday the 26th June, eve of MJ’s death. John Lillygreen did a marvellous “Billie Jean”. I wished I had recorded it. The audience was fab and Jed and Brodie did 3 songs. The night was warm, the view from the terrace was amazing with a clear panoramic view of the mountains, wonderful summer sky and slight breeze. Felt as if we were at a party. A real summer night without the barbecue though!
The next night will be the Aug 7th and Sept 11 from 7pm.
